Online Application Now Available at TSSD!
The Trenton Special School District is now taking applications online. Paper applications are no longer being accepted. Persons that have applied with paper applications in the past need to reapply online. You must have an email address in order to start the process and you must have access to a computer with access to the Internet. This should make the application process easier and more assessable to all people. You may go directly to the application by going to the "Forms/Applications and Employee Benefits" tab on the side of this page.

Parents, Faculty, and Supporters of TSSD!!
We are asking all supporters of the Trenton Special School District to use a new web browser. It is called Goodsearch and it actually uses Yahoo as its search engine. The school system receives a donation each time a search is completed or when you shop from one of the stores on this site. Simply click on the link below and where it says "Who do you Goodsearch for?", type in Trenton Special and then click "Verify". Thank you for your support of the TSSD.

Flu Information
The TSSD wants to be prepared for this flu season. The State of Tennessee has sent a letter to the local systems that we wish to pass along to the parents. Below is the link to the State of Tennessee Web site and attached is a link to a letter sent by the Commissioner of Education and the Commissioner of Health. The link to the State of Tennessee web site is http://www.tennessee.gov/education/SwineFluInfo.shtml.

From the Superintendent

Welcome to the Trenton Special School District website. The special school district, which was founded in 1975, is located in the city of Trenton, Gibson County, Tennessee. Approximately fourteen hundred students in the city and surrounding area are served in three schools and a community resource center. With a rich history of academic and extra curricular success the district is proudly supported by its stakeholders.

This website offers insight into each of the schools and district-wide initiatives. You are encouraged to visit each site for detailed information. In addition links will take you to community and educational resources.

As the director of schools, I welcome and appreciate the support from the city, civic and community organizations. Please visit our site often.
